Funny the first time - Shrek Reviews

This movie gets old fast. The first time I saw it was in the theaters. I thought the movie was the funniest thing that has happened to me. But now I realize that I was wrong. The only reason I give Shrek a B+ is because the first time I ever saw it it was just so funny. Now it is not even funny (that kind of stuff happens when you memorize 1/4 of the whole movies lines). Anyway, this movie is about an ogre who's land is being invaded by fairy tale creatures because Lord Farqwad is hunting the creatures down and that is the only place they can hide. So in order for Shrek to get his swamp back he must go to the tallest room in the tallest tower to get Lord Farqwad a princess. Princess Feowna is in that tower. SO threw out the movie Shrek ha sto get Feowna and save her from the dragon who lives in the tower and then bring her back to Farcwad so that him and the princess can get married. But somewhere in the middle you find a secret about the movie that will throw a twist to the whole thing.

One of the best of 2001!!!!!!!!! - Shrek Reviews

It's no shock that Shrek won the first ever "Best Amimated Movie" at the Oscars. This is a classic family/comedy movie that you'll want to watch again and again. Compared to the other movies in 2001, this one stands out the most. It's has a good story, a good moral, and it's really funny. Dreamworks choose the right people to play the characters (Mike Myers is Shrek, etc...) Overall I give it 4 out of 4 stars!

True love's first kiss. - Shrek Reviews

I like Shrek. And to be as old as I am, I've seen Shrek more than 50 times. I really haven't got a favorite part, but I still enjoyed it. I would recommend for comedy lovers to see it.

The funniest film ever - Shrek Reviews

When I saw this film for the first time we were doing an essay on it at school.I loved the way they combined a whole load of fairytales into this film, that's why this storyline gets an A from me. If Lord of the Rings can win 11 Oscars for their trilogy i personally think this should win at least 15 Oscars. The actors are superb. Mike Myers is one of my favourite characters because of his acting in the Austin Powers movies. Eddie Murphy is just hillarius and John Lithgow was excellent in 3rd Rock from the Sun.I'm a big fan of Cameron Diaz from when she started Charlie's Angels. The direction was memorable. The visuals at the start are quiet confusing but they get better as the film goes on. Overall this the funniest film ever and I'm rally looking forward to the sequel.

The outstanding movie for the young and old - Shrek Reviews

Very interesting movie. I have seen this movie for quite a lot of times and I'm still not tired of it.The storyline is quite simple and somewhat alike Beauty and the Beast and fits all nicely like a fairy tale except without the sweet cute little things but with a few mean crude humour in it. The voices were great, Mike Myers had a great accent along with it, Eddie Murphy as the ever talkactive and never shut up donkey and Cameron Diaz made the princess...well, sound like a princess. The computer animation was done quite good too. Everything seem quite real. Nonetheless, it's a great movie for both old and young. The old would find it a great comedy and the young would find it a great story.

Worth seeing - Shrek Reviews

This movie is about an ogre who hates everybody. When he saves a very annoying donkey they become friends. Then they have to save a princess if they do then he can have the swamp all to himself. This movie is a classic. It has humor, drama, and happiness. The voices are right on for the characters. Kids and parents will love this movie. The only thing I didn't like about this movie is that it cussed. Its G-rated material. It shouldn't have cussed. Due to that and some crude humor I gave it a B+.
